In 1965 Sawqat Engineering works, started their journey.Late Mohammad Izzat Ali was the founder of the company.At beginning the company was into automobile spare parts maintence.In 1976 Mohammad Sawqat Ali joined the company as a reseracher and quality controler.In 1979, the company started to manufacturer natural gas pipe line fittings.In 1989 Sawqat engineering works ltd established as a limited company and divirsified in other products such as telecommunication sector’s various cable connector .In 1992 air depolaized battery for Bangladesh railway and traffic signaling system for Bangladesh government.In 2003 this company divided in 3 branches and from then to till now Sawqat Engineering works manufacuring only gas secotr’s valves and regulators . End of 2003, Mohammad Sawqat Ali developed ball valve and in 2006 this company developed valve tee for Petrobangla(Bangladesh Oil,Gas and Mineral Corporation).
